K-RITH is looking for outstanding and innovative young scientists at the masters, doctoral and postdoctoral level.

K-RITH offers exciting and cutting-edge Masters and PhD programmes aimed at developing the future leaders of science in South Africa. It also provides a supportive yet opportunity-filled environment for post-doctoral researchers with the ultimate aim of aiding each to reach the next step in their careers.

In addition, K-RITH has introduced a one-year Pre-Doctoral Programme which acts as a foundation year for potential PhD students. This programme serves two aims: 1. to build HIV and Mycobacterium tuberculosis knowledge, general scientific knowledge and critical thinking skills, and 2. to identify and invest in outstanding students with the potential to obtain a high-quality PhD and develop an independent scientific career.
