Keynote Speaker: National Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi

This month will host a Scientific Symposium to mark its Official Opening.  A number of eminent scientists from South Africa and around the world will be speaking during the two day event.  Attendance is by invitation only.  Click here for the programme.

3rd year BSc, Honours, Masters and medical students are invited to attend the lunch time Seminar Series for the 5th Annual K-RITH Mycobacterial Genetics Course at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Westville Campus.

Speakers include: Graham Hatfull (University of Pittsburgh), William Jacobs and Michelle Larsen (Albert Einstein College of Medicine) and Eric Rubin (Harvard School of Public Health).

Join us in an exciting adventure to discover new bacteriophages that might contribute towards the treatment of tuberculosis!

Professor Peter Agre, joint winner of the 2003 Nobel Prize for Chemistry, will be K-RITH's guest speaker on February 2.
